Mahmudul Hasan Joy is yet another skilful Bangladeshi cricketer who has sharpened his skills at the Under-19 level. Having made his List-A debut for Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan during the 2018-19 domestic competition, Hasan Joy was drafted in the Bangladesh squad for the 2020 U-19 World Cup. It was in the very same competition where he showcased his skills with the bat. The right-handed batter smashed a sublime ton against New Zealand in the Super League semi-final game. 2021 has been a happy year for the swashbuckling batter. First, he was selected in the Bangladesh Emerging squad for their series against Ireland Wolves. Following the series, Hasan Joy was praised for his performances and was touted as the future of his nation. Eventually, after years of hard work, the batter was selected in the Bangladesh Test squad for their series against Pakistan, commencing from November 26, 2021.
