Player story

Brydon was born in South Africa and plays in England due to his ancestral visa. One of his grandparents was from England and he is the current Kolpak player for Durham. Making his first-class debut against Durham MCCU, Carse has been an injury prone player. The right-arm fast bowler is more of the skiddy kind rather than a hit-the-deck. He started playing for Durham in 2016 and midway through sustained an injury. But his 17 wickets in 8 games ensured that the county side held on to him. Carse has played very little in the following two years. In fact, only three games in total and that is because of his injuries. Whenever fit he turns up for Durham's second XI, but the county side would want him to stay fit for a longer period and make it to the first XI.
